Account security
Manage registered devices, resolve session conflicts, and change your password.
Devices & Sessions, a section of Account Settings, lists your active sessions and registered devices. The first line of the section states your account's device limit and how many devices can be in use at once.
Sign in on another device
Active use from a device on a different network triggers a session conflict. Devices on the same network do not conflict with each other, and an idle session stops blocking other devices after a period without activity.
A conflict opens the This account is active on another device dialog, which names the other device and its last activity:
- Click Sign out other device and continue here to end the other session and keep working on this device.
- Click Cancel to sign out on this device and leave the other session in use.
Manage sessions and devices
Active sessions lists each signed-in device and its last activity. Click the remove button on a session to sign it out, or click Sign out all other devices to end every session except this one.
Registered devices shows how many device slots you use, for example 3 of 3. Click a device name to rename it, then press Enter. Click a device's remove button to free its slot.
When every slot is in use, PirateSERP refuses sign-in on a new device. The new device shows the You've reached the maximum number of registered devices dialog; click Remove on a listed device to continue there.
Change or reset your password
- Open Change Password in Account Settings.
- Enter Current password, New password, and Confirm new password.
- Click Change Password.
A password change signs out every session, including the current one, so you must sign in again.
A password reset through an emailed link does not sign out other sessions. After a reset, open Devices & Sessions and click Sign out all other devices.
Keep your login private. If you do not recognize a session or device, change your password and remove the unknown device.
