Article Writer, the PirateSERP informational-article generator, researches, plans, writes, and quality-checks an entity-first article from a single title. Use it for explainers and informational guides. For a commercial service page or an existing draft, use Content Editor.

Article Writer requires an OpenRouter API key and a Preferred LLM selected in Account Settings. Every stage of the article runs on that model. Article research uses included search data.

Write an article

1. Select the project.
2. Enter Title as a specific subject or question, for example "How does a heat pump work?"
3. Review Audience and Knowledge level, for example "General readers" and "Beginner."
4. Choose Depth: Brief, Standard, or Deep.
5. Choose Language, then choose the country from the Market (country) list.
6. Enter Purpose, the reason a reader opens the article.
7. Add Required topics and Excluded topics, one per line or comma-separated, when you need to control coverage.
8. Enter verified information in Known facts. The writer treats these facts as given.
9. Enter any other instructions in Notes.
10. Click Write article.

Your business profile can fill the audience and market. Check both fields before you submit.

Follow progress

A progress display tracks the article through seven stages, from research to the final quality check. Click Cancel to request cancellation, and wait for the status to confirm that processing stopped.

Each article saves to Recent articles in the active project. Click an article to open it; its status reads Running, Ready, Needs review, Error, or Cancelled. Articles belong to one project, so switch projects in the header to find articles saved elsewhere.

Review the draft

The article aims to name each entity it covers and state that entity's attributes. It still requires editorial review: check names, figures, citations, and missing information against your sources before you publish.

Quality check marks the article PASS or REVISE. A PASS result has no blocking findings. Each finding carries a blocking or minor label, the quoted text, and a suggested fix. A passing check does not verify every fact independently.

When the writer lacks evidence for part of the article, a notice reads The writer flagged followed by the number of gaps, with each gap listed under its section heading. Add the missing facts to the text yourself, or write the article again with them in Known facts.

Revise the article with these controls:

• Regenerate this section rewrites the section a finding names, where the finding offers it. Findings about the article title have no Regenerate this section control. When two sections share a heading, the first one is rewritten. Before you click it, you can type guidance in Extra instructions (optional), up to 500 characters, for example "open with the safety warning". The instructions guide only that one regeneration and cannot add facts: a detail your sources or known facts do not support stays out of the section.
• Re-run QA checks the saved article again.

A recheck evaluates the article again and can return different findings. Read the resulting text after each revision.

Copy and reuse the article

Click Copy HTML to copy the article body. Paste it into your website editor, or into Content Editor for further work with its entity, term, and readability tools.

Article Writer does not publish to your website. Click the delete icon on an article to remove it permanently. To check the finished text for topical focus, run Content Alignment; for entity coverage, run Entity SEO Auditor.
