Product Optimizer

Rewrite a product description in one of 15 styles and review it before you use it in your store.

Open Product Optimizer

Product Optimizer, a PirateSERP tool in the Products group of the sidebar, rewrites a product description in one of 15 writing styles. It runs on your own OpenRouter API key and the model you choose, so save both in Account Settings first. Read API keys for setup.

Rewrite a description

  1. Select the project and, when offered, a Business product.
  2. Choose Paste text or Product URL.
  3. Paste the current text into Product description, or enter the public product page in Product URL.
  4. Optionally add Product specifications (optional), up to 3,000 characters, and a Supporting source URL (optional).
  5. Choose an Optimization style.
  6. Click Optimize.

Send either a product URL or a pasted description, not both. With Product URL, Product Optimizer reads the text from the product page. If the page yields little or no usable text, paste the description instead. A description longer than 60,000 characters fails rather than being shortened.

The rewrite runs in the background, so a long rewrite on a slow model can take several minutes. The result appears when the model finishes. If you leave the page while Optimizing… shows, the finished rewrite still appears in History. To stop a run, click Cancel; a canceled run saves nothing to History.

A saved Business product can fill the description, product URL, specifications, and supporting URL. Check that the filled values describe the selected product. Read Projects to save products.

Product Optimizer treats your specifications as unverified input, and it does not open the supporting source URL. The URL travels with the request as a reference only.

Choose a style

Every style keeps the facts, numbers, qualifications, and attributions in your description, and none adds claims your description does not support. Each rewrite names the product's entities and states their attributes, such as materials, dimensions, and capacities, when your description supplies them.

StyleWhat the rewrite does
AuthoritativeUses confident, direct wording, and keeps your qualifications.
TechnicalUses precise technical terms for facts already stated.
UniqueUses distinctive but familiar phrasing without changing meaning.
FluentImproves sentence flow and merges repeated explanations.
ClickableOpens with an engaging line built from the stated benefits.
DiverseUses inclusive language.
QualityHighlights quality where the description supplies evidence.
CompetitiveHighlights differentiators the description states, with no invented comparisons.
LLM RankingOrganizes the stated facts clearly for readers and AI answer engines.
FormattedOrganizes the same information with Markdown headings and lists.
FAQTurns the stated information into questions and answers.
AdvertisementWrites concise advertising copy with a call to action, without invented urgency or testimonials.
Multilingual FlairAdds a few recognizable expressions from other languages where they keep the meaning.
MinimalistUses the shortest plain wording that keeps every fact.
StorytellingPresents the stated facts as a sequence, without invented characters or experiences.

A style does not verify specifications or guarantee search performance. Publish only claims you can support.

Fix a failed rewrite

Read the message shown after a failed rewrite:

  • Out of credits: add credits to your OpenRouter account, or change the key in Account Settings.
  • Rejected key: check or replace your OpenRouter API key in Account Settings.
  • Rate-limited: wait a minute, and try again.
  • Other OpenRouter error: try again, or choose another model in Account Settings.

Review and reuse the result

Compare Result with the product details and the source page. Result also shows the model that wrote it. Correct unsupported claims, then click Copy to copy the text into your store.

History saves each rewrite for the active project with its style, date, and source URL. Copy an earlier rewrite, or click Delete to remove it. To find rewrites saved under another project, switch projects. Product Optimizer does not publish changes to your store.

To write a buying guide that compares several products, use Product Roundup.
