Open Entity Home

Entity Home, the PirateSERP identity checker, reads one page and reports whether it tells search engines and AI assistants who a brand or person is: the structured data, the name, the linked profiles, and any matching Wikipedia or Wikidata entry. Entity Home needs no API key.

Check a page

1. Switch to the project you want from the header.
2. Review Brand or person and Home page URL. For a person, enter their official profile or about page.
3. Choose the Language.
4. Click Check entity home.

The project's business profile can fill the name and website. Confirm that Brand or person holds the exact name the page must describe.

Review the result

The result opens with a Score, the structured data type found on the page, and every schema type on the page. Start with Do these first, then read each finding and its recommendation.

Findings cover these checks:

• Entity described in structured data: the page carries an Organization or Person node.
• Name matches the entity and Page title names the entity: the node and the title use the name you entered.
• url property points at this site: the node's url resolves to the checked site. A relative url, logo, or image value resolves against the page address.
• Logo present or Image present: the node carries a logo for an organization or an image for a person.
• sameAs links to the entity's other homes: the node links official profiles such as LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Facebook, Instagram, Wikipedia, Wikidata, and Crunchbase.
• Founder or people linked, or Organization or role linked: the node connects the entity to related people or organizations.
• Known to Wikipedia / Wikidata and sameAs claims the Wikidata / Wikipedia entry: see Wikipedia and Wikidata matches.

Each finding shows Pass, Opportunity, Issue, or Unknown. Unknown means Entity Home lacks the information to judge that check. Add only official profile links that belong to the same entity.

If the project has a finished GBP Audit of the same website, the result states that it was cross-checked and adds findings that compare the page's name and phone with the Google Business Profile.

Wikipedia and Wikidata matches

A Wikidata item with the same name as your entity counts as a match only when that item lists your site as its official website.

• When the item lists another website or none, the finding names the item as a possible match. If that item describes your entity, add your site as its official website on Wikidata. Otherwise, create a Wikidata item for your entity.
• When no article or item matches the name, the finding recommends that you create a Wikidata item with the entity's name, type, official website, and profiles.
• When Wikipedia cannot be reached, or the matching item's official website cannot be read, the finding shows Unknown. Run the check again later.

A missing Wikipedia entry does not mean the business or person is invalid.

After a confirmed match, sameAs claims the Wikidata / Wikipedia entry checks your sameAs links for that entry. Any form of the Wikidata address counts, including /wiki/ or /entity/ paths, http or https, and with or without www.

Use the suggested markup

JSON-LD to add lists only the missing properties, with placeholders in capitals. Click Copy to copy it, replace every placeholder with an accurate value, and merge the properties into your existing Organization or Person node instead of adding a second node.

Entity Home does not publish changes, and a passing result does not guarantee that search engines recognize the entity.

Reopen a check

Past checks lists the checks in the active project with their scores. Click a check to reopen its findings, or click the delete control to remove it. Switch projects in the header to find checks saved in another project. Run another check after you update the public page.
